Senior Fashion Marketing Capstone

For the course titled: Professional Portfolio Practices in Fashion Marketing, we were required to complete a senior capstone project. This project has been ongoing for an entire quarter. My capstone project was my second fashion show and pop-up shop titled Worlds Collide II, which was curated by my boyfriend Devin Gaston and I. This project stood out amongst my peers because it was an actual event that happened with tangible results. I created all of the crochet garments by hand and Devin designed his Party Starter t-shirts, both which were displayed during a runway show. Fashion Editorial

For the fashion design course titled: Current Trends and Forecasting, I created a mock editorial spread for Dazed magazine which featured my handmade crochet clothing, highlighting a twist on slow fashion.

For the fashion marketing course titled: Private Label Product Development my group member and I curated t-shirt designs for the popular music fest Afro Punk.

Rag & Bone

For the fashion marketing course titled: Contemporary Issues In Fashion Marketing, my team and I created a sustainable brand extension for Rag & Bone which was a handmade crocheted sunglass case that I made by hand. I also photographed the sunglass case for this project.

Personal Branding

For the fashion marketing course titled: Digital Presentation Techniques, I had the opportunity to establish my personal brand. This consisted of creating a logo, resume, cover letter, and business cards.

For the fashion marketing course titled: Digital Presentation Techniques, I worked as a creative director with three of my peers: Tayja Strickland, Crockett Henderson, and Ryan Schostak, to create a lookbook. 

Brand Extension for Milk Makeup

For my final project in the fashion marketing course titled: Fashion Aesthetics and Style, we had to create an extension for a brand of our choice. I worked with three of my peers: Britnee Hopkins, Alyssa Advano, and Hyewon Jeong, and we decided to do Milk Makeup. We created Milk Shades, a sunglass line for the brand and we included all necessary promotional materials and marketing strategies in our presentation. Additionally, we created a short promo video for the product and photographs with mockups.
